Gold-Plated 3.5mm Stereo Coupler

This gold-plated 3.5mm stereo jack adapter joins two male 3.5mm plugs into a single continuous connection. It suits anyone extending headphone cables, linking portable audio sources to extension leads, or bridging patch cords in a home or mobile setup. The compact female-to-female design adds no active electronics, so signal passes through unchanged.

Passive Signal Extension Under Continuous Use

Because the adaptor is purely passive, its behaviour under sustained load is identical to its behaviour in a brief test: it simply maintains the electrical path without amplification or conversion. Gold plating on the contacts resists oxidation, helping to preserve low contact resistance over long periods of daily insertion and removal cycles. No power is required and no heat is generated.

Replaces Damaged or Missing 3.5mm Couplers

The GC-678 replaces a lost or worn 3.5mm female-to-female coupler in any stereo audio chain. The upgrade is worth it when the original coupler shows crackling, intermittent contact or physical damage, or when a project demands a fresh gold-plated interface for long-term reliability. It does not serve users who need 2.5mm connections, mono bridging or an in-line volume control.
