15 ft black power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug and IEC 60320 C13 connector, 14AWG rated 15A
This 15.00 ft cable connects devices with a male IEC 60320 C14 panel connector to a standard US AC wall outlet. It carries a NEMA 5-15P plug on one end and an IEC 60320 C13 connector on the other. The 14AWG conductors are rated for 15A service. It suits computers, monitors, power adapters and similar equipment.
The cord has no fan, radiator or active components, so it produces no noise and draws no power of its own. Heat generation is limited to normal resistive losses in the 14AWG copper conductors under load. No thermal management or airflow considerations apply to this passive assembly.
This lead replaces a lost, damaged or too-short power cable for any device fitted with a C14 inlet. The 15.00 ft length adds reach when the wall outlet or UPS is farther from the hardware than the original cord allows. It is not for devices that require a different IEC connector type or a higher current rating than 15A.

Plug the NEMA 5-15P end into a US wall outlet or UPS, then firmly seat the C13 connector onto the device's C14 inlet; the common mistake is leaving the C13 slightly loose, which can cause intermittent power.
Inspect the jacket and connectors periodically for cracks, discoloration, or bent pins; replace the cord if the insulation is damaged or the C13 blades no longer grip the C14 inlet securely.
The 15 A rating of the NEMA 5-15P plug and 14AWG conductors is the limiting factor; sustained current above 15 A will overheat the cord and trip the upstream breaker.
