Cat7 patch cable for 10 GbE networks

This Monoprice Cat7 patch cable is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet environments and remains backwards compatible with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit networks. It uses 26 AWG pure bare copper conductors with S/FTP shielding and 50 µm gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance. The cable is tested to 600 MHz and meets UL 444 and TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards.

Flexible 5.7 mm design with snagless boot

At 5.7 mm diameter the cable is 30 % thinner than traditional 23 AWG Cat7 cables, making it easier to route in high-density racks or tight pathways. The snagless FLEXboot protects the latch during insertion and removal, reducing the risk of broken tabs. Pure bare copper construction avoids the brittleness of copper-clad aluminium, so the cable tolerates repeated moves, adds and changes without conductor fatigue.
