Cord length and rating

This 25 foot 14 AWG extension cord carries a 15 amp rating at 125 volts. It is suited for users who need to reach a wall outlet from equipment positioned further away. The cord handles up to 1875 watts for typical household or office devices.

Installation and common issues

Plug the NEMA 5-15P end into the wall outlet and connect your device to the NEMA 5-15R receptacle. The SJTW jacket resists weather and water for indoor or outdoor use up to 60C. Avoid running the cord through doorways or under rugs where it can be pinched or damaged.

Pre-order checks

Confirm your equipment uses a standard NEMA 5-15 plug and draws no more than 15 amps. Verify that 24.99 feet provides enough reach without creating excess slack. Ensure the installation environment stays within the 60C temperature rating for safe operation.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cord is delivering power correctly after plugging it in?

The cord carries 125 V at up to 15 A and 1875 W; if the connected device powers on and runs normally, the extension is working as intended.

What comes with the 5303 and is anything else required?

The box contains the 24.99 ft 14 AWG SJTW cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug and a NEMA 5-15R receptacle; no extra parts are needed for standard indoor or outdoor use.

Which gauge and length should I choose for a 15 A load?

The 14 AWG 25 ft version is rated for the full 15 A and 1875 W; longer lengths in the same gauge would reduce capacity, so select this model for maximum rated current.
