15 ft 12/3 outdoor extension cord

This 15 ft heavy-duty extension cord uses 12 AWG conductors rated for 15 A at 125 V AC, delivering up to 1875 W. It is built for demanding outdoor tasks such as construction sites, landscaping, welding and powering major appliances. The cord carries ETL and cETL listings and has passed a 1500 V high-voltage test.

1875 W capacity with IP65 weather protection

The 12/3 SJTW cable handles high-draw tools including circular saws, lawn mowers and block heaters without voltage drop over its 15 ft length. An IP65-rated jacket resists water, corrosion and heat up to 158 °F while staying flexible down to -58 °F. It is not suited for permanent fixed wiring or loads exceeding 15 A.

NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R with lighted end

The male plug and female socket are standard NEMA 5-15 types, so the cord works with common North American 125 V outlets and equipment. A built-in LED indicator glows when power is present, and strain-relief collars plus a hook on the socket reduce wear from bending and allow hanging storage.

Questions about this item

Will the NEMA 5-15R socket on this 15 ft cord accept the NEMA 5-15P plug on my older circular saw?

Yes, the female NEMA 5-15R socket is the standard North American 15 A 125 V receptacle, so it mates with any NEMA 5-15P plug on existing tools or appliances.

How can I confirm the 12/3 SJTW cord is delivering power once I plug it in?

The lighted indicator on the female end illuminates whenever the cord is energised, giving immediate visual confirmation that 125 V is present at the outlet.

Does the package include the storage straps shown in the highlights, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the 15 ft extension cord and the storage straps; no extra accessories are required for basic use.
