Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the MSI Katana 15.6" QHD 165Hz i7-14650HX RTX 5070 laptop and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the laptop with 32GB DDR5 5600 memory and 1TB NVMe SSD installed, a 55.2Wh battery, 4-zone RGB keyboard, Windows 11 Pro, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI, RJ-45, three USB Type-A, one USB Type-C and a headphone/microphone combo jack. No extra memory or storage is required unless you want more than 32GB or 1TB.

Should I choose the 32GB DDR5 5600 configuration or upgrade toward the 64GB maximum mentioned in the details?

The shipped unit already has 32GB DDR5 5600. The platform supports up to 64GB, so only select a higher capacity if your workloads regularly exceed 32GB; otherwise the factory 32GB is sufficient for current games and multitasking.

What does the 165Hz QHD 2560x1440 IPS panel deliver in actual gameplay on the RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7?

The 165Hz refresh rate at 2560x1440 lets the RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 push high frame rates in competitive titles while the 100% DCI-P3 IPS panel provides wide colour coverage for immersive single-player scenes.
