Thin 15 144Hz Gaming Laptop

This MSI Thin 15 combines an Intel Core i7-13620H processor with an NVIDIA RTX 4050 GPU on a 15.6-inch FHD display running at 144Hz. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB SSD under Windows 11 Home. The black chassis includes a backlit keyboard and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

Who It Suits And Who Should Look Elsewhere

The 144Hz panel and dedicated RTX 4050 suit gamers and creators who want smooth motion in a portable 15.6-inch form factor. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a numeric keypad, or a media card reader should consider other models. The DDR4 memory maxes at 64GB for future upgrades.

RTX 4050 Laptop GPU Decides Fit

The NVIDIA RTX 4050 Laptop GPU is the single specification that determines whether this machine matches your workload. It provides dedicated graphics power for modern titles and GPU-accelerated apps at 1080p. If your software demands higher VRAM or a different GPU tier, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.0 Type-A ports and HDMI output work with my older mouse, external drive and 1080p monitor?

Yes — the laptop provides three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one HDMI port, so existing peripherals and a 1920 x 1080 display connect without adapters.

How can I verify the 144 Hz panel and RTX 4050 are active after first boot?

Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and confirm 144 Hz is selectable, then launch Task Manager > Performance > GPU and check that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU is listed.

What accessories ship in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the laptop and its power adapter; no external mouse, laptop sleeve or additional storage drives are included.
