This MTYTOT adapter supplies 12 volts at up to 4 amps for devices that draw 48 watts or less. It suits LED strip lights, CCTV cameras, printers, keyboards, TV boxes and speakers that use a 5.5 mm by 2.5 mm centre-positive barrel plug.
Build integration
The unit accepts 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz, so it works on mains supplies worldwide without a separate voltage selector. A 4.6 foot cable reaches from a wall socket to desktop or rack gear, and the black plastic housing measures 4.3 by 16.4 by 19.6 centimetres for easy routing.

Questions about this item
Will the 48 W limit trip if my LED strip runs continuously at full brightness?
The adapter delivers up to 48 watts at 12 volts and 4 amps. If your strip draws less than that continuously, the overload protection will not activate.
Does the brick get hot or make noise when powering a CCTV camera 24/7?
It has no fan; heat is dissipated through the plastic case. Normal warmth is expected, but the over-temperature cut-off will shut it down if internal limits are exceeded.
My device uses a 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm barrel jack — will the included tip fit?
The supplied connector is 5.5 mm outer diameter with a 2.5 mm inner pin. A 2.1 mm jack is smaller and will not make reliable contact.
