Purpose and fit

This three-piece porcelain-coated steel wire cooking grid set replaces Ducane part 53083 and fits select Affinity and Master Forge gas grills including the P3018 model. It is intended for owners of those grills who need to restore the original cooking surface.

Critical dimension

The combined set measures 17-13/16 inches wide by 29-1/4 inches deep so the grids must match that total footprint to sit correctly on the support ledges. Grills with a different firebox width or depth will not accept these pieces.

Installation and pitfalls

Each grid section rests directly on the existing ledges after the grill box is cleaned, then a preheat and light oiling season the surface. The most common issue is attempting to force the set into a grill with mismatched ledge spacing, which prevents the grids from sitting flat.
