Perfect fit for 22 inch griddle

The NancyL 0519 silicone cover is sized at 22 inches and coloured orange. It is made for owners of a 22 inch griddle who want a ready-to-use barrier against rust, moisture, insects and debris when the cooktop is clean, cool and lightly oiled. The tall edge wraps the full perimeter to keep the surface protected in stormy weather.

Heat resistance up to 400°F

The cover is manufactured from heavy-duty food-grade silicone rated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This single figure decides whether the mat can stay in place during warm-down or must be removed before the metal reaches higher temperatures. The material is also non-stick and dishwasher safe for quick cleaning.

Handles light-duty outdoor use

At 22 inches the mat covers the cooktop and contains light moisture, pollen and leaves while doubling as a food-safe prep surface for family gatherings. It is not intended for use over open flames or direct heat sources, so it must be removed before cooking starts.

Questions about this item

How does the 22 in size match up with a 36" griddle?

The cover is custom-designed for a 36" griddle surface, fitting without trimming so it will not wobble or slide when placed on a clean, cool, lightly oiled surface.

What does the 400°F heat resistance mean for daily use?

The food-grade silicone withstands temperatures up to 400°F, making it safe for residual heat on a cooled griddle and allowing dishwasher or hand cleaning without damage.

Will the 16 x 11.5 x 1 inch dimensions let it sit flat on my grill?

The tall-edge, full-perimeter design sits securely on the griddle, containing moisture and debris while blocking rain, insects, pollen and leaves from reaching the cooking surface.
