Each connector has a moulded strain-relief boot that protects the latch during repeated insertion and removal. The plugs follow the universal RJ45 pinout, so they seat in any standard keystone jack, patch panel or device port without forcing; the only common issue is a tight latch on older ports that may need a gentle squeeze to release.

CAT6 bandwidth ceiling and length limit

The cables are rated for 10/100/1000 Base-T and up to 10 Gbps over short runs, with a conductor resistance of 14.3 Ohm/km and insulation resistance above 5000 Ohm/km. For guaranteed 10 Gbps performance the installed length must stay within the CAT6 channel limit of 100 metres; at 7 feet these assemblies are well inside that boundary.
