1U Vented Rack Shelf

A 1U vented rack shelf built from 1.2 mm cold-rolled steel for standard 19 inch racks. The slotted venting design promotes airflow around equipment that cannot be mounted directly. Finished in black and compliant with CE, RoHS and EIA/ECA-310-E standards.

22 lbs Weight Capacity

Rated to hold 22 lbs of ancillary hardware across a 17.5 by 5.75 inch surface area. The 150 mm depth provides room for shallow devices while leaving rear clearance for cables. Heavier appliances or deeper chassis will exceed the load limit or overhang the tray.

Universal 19 Inch Mounting

Mounts to any standard 19 inch rack or cabinet using the front flanges only. No lip on the front edge allows unrestricted insertion of equipment. Requires a rack with front mounting rails spaced to EIA/ECA-310-E; it does not support four-post or center-weighted installations.

Questions about this item

Will the 19 inch rack-mount holes line up with the threaded rails on my older 19 inch cabinet?

Yes, the shelf complies with EIA/ECA-310-E so the mounting pattern matches standard 19 inch threaded or square-hole rails.

How can I confirm the vented 1.2 mm steel shelf is dissipating heat properly once installed?

Place a hand near the slotted vents after the equipment has been running; steady warm airflow through the slots shows the design is moving heat away.

Does the box include cage nuts and screws for a 19 inch rack, or must I supply my own mounting hardware?

The package contains the 1U vented shelf only; cage nuts, screws or bolts for the 19 inch rails are not included.
