NavePoint CAT5e Plenum CMP 1000 Ft Yellow 24AWG Solid Copper UTP network ethernet cable

Product Identity

NavePoint CAT5e Plenum CMP is a 1000 Ft bulk Ethernet cable built with 24AWG solid bare copper conductors in four unshielded twisted pairs. The yellow CMP-rated jacket meets strict fire-safety standards for installation in plenum air spaces. It supports up to 400 MHz bandwidth for Gigabit Ethernet runs.

Fit and Limits

This cable suits installers pulling horizontal runs through ceilings or raised floors where plenum rating is required and solid conductor performance is preferred. Buyers who need flexible patch cords for frequent moves or who require shielded construction for high-EMI environments should look at something else.

Deciding Specification

The CMP plenum fire rating is the single attribute that determines whether this cable meets building-code requirements for air-handling spaces. Without that rating the cable cannot be used in plenum areas regardless of its Category 5e performance.
