Snagless Cat5e UTP patch cable 10-pack

The NavePoint Cat5e UTP Ethernet patch cable comes in a 10-pack of 2 ft gray cords. Each cord uses 24 AWG stranded copper conductors with HD-PE insulation and a durable PVC jacket. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors with snagless strain-relief boots provide secure, universal LAN connectivity for gigabit networks.

Ideal for dense patch panels and short runs

These short cables suit installers wiring patch panels, wall outlets or stacked switches where slack must be minimised. They support 10/100/1000 Base-T up to 1 Gbps at 100 MHz bandwidth. Buyers needing longer links, higher category ratings or non-standard colours should look at other options.

2 ft fixed length defines the use case

Every cable in the pack is exactly 2 ft long, limiting deployment to very short connections such as rack-to-panel or desk-to-wall jack. The 24 AWG stranded construction and 117 Ohm/km DC resistance meet Cat5e specifications for gigabit throughput over this distance.

Questions about this item

Will these Cat5e cables work with my older 10/100 Base-T router and network cards?

Yes, they are backward compatible with 10/100 Base-T networks and will connect to any standard RJ45 port on older equipment.

How can I verify the cables are delivering gigabit speeds after installation?

Check the link LEDs on your router or switch; they should show a solid or blinking gigabit indicator, and your OS network status will report a 1000 Mbps connection.

What comes in the 10-pack and do I need any extra connectors or tools?

The pack contains ten 2 FT gray snagless Cat5e patch cables with gold-plated RJ45 connectors and strain relief boots; no extra connectors or tools are required.
