Universal RJ45 connectivity

This NavePoint Cat5e UTP patch cable provides a 50 FT gray link for 10/100/1000 Base-T networks. Rated for 1 Gbps transfer speed at 100 MHz, it serves servers, computers, routers, switches, VoIP phones and media players needing a standard LAN drop.

Snagless boots and gold contacts

Stranded 24 AWG copper conductors with HD-PE insulation sit inside a durable PVC jacket. Gold-plated RJ45 plugs and moulded strain-relief boots on both ends resist snags during routing and maintain low 117 Ohm/km DC resistance over repeated connect-disconnect cycles.

Verify port speed and run length

Confirm the target devices negotiate at 1 Gbps and that the 50 FT run stays within your structured-cabling allowance. The cable is UL Listed and unshielded, so avoid routing parallel to power conductors where alien crosstalk could degrade the 100 MHz channel.

Questions about this item

What data rate does the Cat5e UTP patch cable support in practice?

The cable is rated for 100 MHz bandwidth and delivers up to 1 Gbps transfer speed on 10/100/1000 Base-T networks.

What physical space and connector clearance does the 50-foot cable require?

It uses standard RJ45 plugs with snagless strain-relief boots on both ends and a 24 AWG stranded copper core inside a PVC jacket.

How do you install the patch cable, and what step do people often miss?

Push each RJ45 connector firmly into the port until the tab clicks; the snagless boot can make the click feel softer, so verify the lock is fully seated.
