Cat5e UTP patch cable 10-pack

The NavePoint Cat5e UTP patch cable comes in a 10-pack of 2 ft blue cords. Each cable uses 24 AWG stranded copper with HD-PE insulation and a durable PVC jacket. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors and strain relief boots are fitted on both ends for secure, reliable connectivity.

Snagless boots and gold-plated connectors

Snagless strain relief boots protect the locking tabs from damage during frequent plugging and unplugging. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain low resistance over time. The stranded copper construction keeps the cable flexible for tight routing in racks or behind desks.

Suited for Gigabit patching in dense installs

This pack suits installers and home users who need multiple short cables for patch panels, switches, VoIP phones or workstations running at 1 Gbps. Buyers who need longer runs, outdoor-rated jackets or Cat6a performance should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Will the RJ45 connectors or the snagless boots need replacing after repeated plugging and unplugging?

The gold-plated RJ45 connectors and strain-relief boots are built for repeated mating cycles; no scheduled replacement is required.

What limits the cable’s throughput when the link runs continuously at full load?

The 100 MHz bandwidth ceiling caps sustained throughput at 1 Gbps.

Does the 24 AWG stranded copper generate noticeable heat or draw extra power during all-day operation?

Passive copper conductors add no measurable heat or power draw; the cable runs at ambient temperature.
