What this cable does

NavePoint CAT6 UTP CCA bulk cable ships as a 1000 foot reel of 23 AWG solid conductors rated to 550 MHz. It suits installers wiring homes, offices or small commercial sites for data, voice and video distribution.

Performance over long runs

The copper-clad aluminium construction meets Category 6 electrical specs at the stated frequency, but attenuation rises with distance more quickly than on solid copper equivalents. Test each completed link before closing walls to confirm the run meets your application's error-rate targets.

Check before you buy

Verify that your keystone jacks, patch panels and crimp connectors are rated for 23 AWG solid CCA conductors, as some terminals require pure copper. Confirm local code allows CCA cable for the intended pathway and that you have the tooling to terminate solid wire cleanly.
