Application

This NavePoint CAT6 CCA UTP bulk cable ships as a ten-pack of one thousand foot reels in blue. It uses copper-clad aluminium conductors in an unshielded twisted-pair construction rated for category six performance. The product targets installers wiring homes or offices for data, voice and video distribution.

Suitability

The cable suits structured cabling projects where cost per metre drives the purchasing decision and runs stay within recommended channel lengths. It is not for buyers who need pure copper conductors for Power over Ethernet, for installations requiring shielded cable in high-noise environments, or for permanent links that exceed the distance limits for CCA cable.

Critical specification

The conductors are copper-clad aluminium rather than solid copper, which increases DC resistance and limits the safe run length for standards-compliant gigabit links. Verify that your planned cable distances and power requirements accept this material before terminating the installation.
