A 50-foot Cat6 UTP patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors rated for 10 Gbps at 250 MHz
This 50 FT Cat6 UTP patch cable uses stranded copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 connectors to link servers, computers, routers, switches, VoIP phones and network media players. The snagless boots protect the latch during repeated insertion and removal. It is designed for Gigabit networks and patches hubs to distribution panels or workstations to wall outlets.
As a passive copper cable it generates no heat, produces no audible noise and draws no electrical power during operation. The PVC jacket and HD-PE insulation maintain signal integrity without active cooling. Strain relief boots on both ends reduce mechanical stress on the connectors.
The cable is rated for a maximum data transfer rate of 250 MHz and a maximum transfer speed of 10 Gbps, making it appropriate for 10/100/1000 Base-T networks. Buyers who need higher bandwidth or longer runs beyond the rated length should consider alternative cabling categories.

Route the 50 FT cable along the desired path, then press each gold-plated RJ45 connector firmly into the port until the snagless boot clicks; the strain-relief boot protects the 24 AWG stranded copper from bending stress at the jack.
Inspect the PVC jacket and snagless boots periodically for cracks or kinks; replace the cable if the 117 Ohm/km conductor resistance rises due to physical damage or if the gold-plated contacts show corrosion.
The 250 MHz bandwidth ceiling of the Cat6 specification is reached before the 50 FT distance degrades the 10 Gbps signal, so sustained throughput tops out at the rated 250 MHz channel capacity.
