What this cable is

The NavePoint CAT6A S/FTP patch cord uses 26 AWG stranded copper conductors with a PVC jacket and strain-relief boots on both ends. It is sold as a five-pack of black cables, each measuring .5 feet, and is rated for 10 Gbps data transmission.

Who should buy it

Buyers who need very short, high-density links between rack-mounted switches, servers, patch panels or PoE-powered IoT devices will appreciate the snagless boots and shielded construction. Installers who require longer runs, different colours or a single cable rather than a five-pack should look elsewhere.

Decisive specification

The CAT6A S/FTP rating supports 10 Gbps speeds and is recommended for Wi-Fi 6 deployments and high-power PoE applications such as surveillance cameras and uplink ports within a rack.
