NEC SL2100 12-Button Corded Phone

The NEC SL2100 is a 12-button digital telephone designed for business environments using the SL2100 communication platform. It provides direct access to unified communications, VoIP, and conferencing features from the desk. The handset suits offices that need a fixed endpoint integrated with the wider system. New condition ensures reliable deployment from day one.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

This phone suits organisations already running or planning an SL2100 system that require a wired desktop handset with dedicated feature keys. It is not for buyers who need a wireless DECT handset, a SIP phone for a different PBX, or a soft-client-only setup without physical hardware.

SL2100 System Compatibility Is the Deciding Factor

The single specification that determines fit is compatibility with the NEC SL2100 digital platform. The handset operates only on that proprietary system and will not register to generic SIP servers or other vendor PBXs. Verify the existing infrastructure before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does this NEC SL2100 telephone need a separate power adapter or does it draw power from the system?

The SL2100 digital telephone is designed to connect directly to a compatible NEC SL2100 phone system, which provides both power and signalling over the single line cord.

Will the 12-button handset work if I keep my older analogue extensions on the same SL2100 chassis?

Yes, the SL2100 platform supports mixed digital and analogue extension cards, so this 12-button digital phone operates alongside legacy analogue devices on the same system.

How can I confirm the phone has registered correctly with the SL2100 after plugging it in?

Once connected, the display shows the extension number and the status LEDs on the 12 programmable buttons illuminate, indicating successful registration with the SL2100.
