The NEC V311X is a DLP home-theatre projector delivering 3100 lumens brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Its native XGA resolution of 1024x768 supports 1080i HD input for movies and streaming. Weighing 5.5 lbs, it is built for portable or fixed installation.

Buyers wanting a lightweight.

This unit suits viewers who need high light output and 3D-ready capability in a compact 5.5 lb chassis. It is not for buyers who require native 1080p or 4K resolution, nor for those who need advanced lens shift or motorised zoom.

Native 1024x768 XGA resolution

The single specification that decides fit is the 1024x768 native panel. Content at 1080i is accepted and scaled, but detail remains XGA. Verify that your source material and screen size match this resolution before purchase.
