Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the NEC VE281X and what must I buy separately?

The projector includes built-in speakers and HDMI, composite RCA and RS232 ports. Cables for those connections and any ceiling-mount hardware are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which brightness and resolution version of the NEC VE281X should I choose for a meeting room?

The model provides 2800 lumens brightness and a native 800 x 600 resolution. That single specification covers the range of 2500 to 2999 lumens and is suited to typical conference-room lighting.

How does the 2800 lumen rating look once the projector is set up in a real room?

At 2800 ANSI lumens the image stays clear and bright in a lit meeting room. The native 800 x 600 pixel grid and DLP engine keep text readable from table-top or ceiling positions.
