Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 3000 ANSI lumen DLP unit get after hours of continuous use?

The lamp is rated for 50000 hours, so heat and fan noise stay consistent for the full rated life; no separate noise or power-draw figures are published.

Which cables or adapters must I already have to connect a laptop or console to the HDMI input?

An HDMI cable is required for the single HDMI port; smartphones need a separate adapter, and the AV port uses a standard audio-video cable.

Will the 1920 x 1080 native resolution and 60 hertz refresh work with an older DVD player or legacy console?

The projector accepts analog RGB, S-Video and component signals through its video-compatibility list, so older sources can connect via the appropriate adapter to the HDMI or AV ports.
