Pocket Voice Recorder with Keychain

The Neutral M7 is a compact digital sound recorder built into a red-and-black ABS button that clips to a key ring. It captures a single message up to 30 seconds long and plays it back through an integrated speaker. The device is aimed at DIY crafters, party planners and anyone wanting a reusable audio tag for gifts, cards or light-hearted pranks.

Simple Three-Step Recording

Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON, hold the top button for two seconds until a beep sounds, then speak from about 20 centimetres away. Release the button to finish; a double beep confirms the recording. Press once to replay, press again to restart, or hold to overwrite. The only common slip is releasing the button before the first beep, which cancels the take.

Check Power and Port Before Buying

The unit ships with three AG13 alkaline cells already installed and rated for more than 3 000 playback cycles. No cable is included; audio transfer to a PC uses a 3.5 millimetre headphone jack, so verify your computer or adapter has that socket. The housing measures roughly 1.9 by 1.9 by 1 inches and weighs .08 pounds.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the M7 keychain recorder has captured my message correctly?

After pressing and holding the top button for two seconds you will hear a beep, then record for up to 30 seconds; releasing the button produces a double beep confirming the recording is stored. Press the button once to play it back and verify the audio.

What comes in the package and do I need to buy batteries separately?

The box contains one talking button with a metal keychain and three AG13 alkaline batteries are already installed, so no separate battery purchase is required.

Which version should I choose if I only need the red-and-black model with 30-second capacity?

This M7 keychain is offered in a single red-and-black colourway with a fixed 30-second recording limit and 1 GB storage; there are no alternative capacities or colours to select.
