Compact Voice Recorder for Picture Frames

The VoiceGift VRMMB is a slim, green voice recorder designed to fit inside picture frames, albums, scrapbooks or gift packaging. It stores up to 60 seconds of audio across multiple messages using 20 MB of built-in flash memory. The device operates on a replaceable alkaline battery and requires no Wi-Fi or apps to function.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your frame or project has enough internal depth to accommodate the unit measuring 11 centimetres in height, 8 centimetres in length and 4.1 centimetres in width. Ensure you can access the 3.5 millimetre headphone jack for private playback if needed. Confirm the recipient is comfortable replacing an alkaline battery when required.

Integrates Into DIY Gifting Projects

The recorder includes adhesive tape and play stickers for direct attachment to frames, boxes, tags or tins. Two playback modes are available: press-to-play or light-sensitive activation when the enclosure opens. Non-volatile memory preserves recordings without power, freeing you from cables, network setup or ongoing software management.

Questions about this item

Does the package include the alkaline battery the recorder needs to operate?

The package contents list only the recorder and a light component; the alkaline battery required for power is not included and must be purchased separately.

Is the 20 MB memory enough for multiple short messages or only one 60-second clip?

The 20 MB capacity holds up to 60 seconds total, which can be split into several shorter recordings or used for one continuous message.

How does the light-sensitive mode work when the recorder is placed inside a closed gift box?

In light-sensitive mode the recorder plays automatically when the box is opened and light reaches the sensor, then stops when closed again.
