Hybrid camera with 24–70mm f/2.8 S lens

The Nikon Z8 is a 45.7MP compact mirrorless camera supplied with a constant-aperture 24–70mm f/2.8 S lens. It targets creators who need both high-resolution stills and professional-grade video in one body. The stacked CMOS sensor enables silent, vibration-free shooting at up to 120 fps with a blackout-free viewfinder.

Sling bag and 128GB card included

The bundle adds a sling camera bag and a 128GB memory card so the kit is ready to shoot immediately. The bag protects the camera and lens during transport while the card provides storage for high-bitrate 12-bit RAW video and 14-bit stills. No additional accessories are required to start working.

12-bit 8K/60p and 4K/120p internal RAW

The decisive specification is the ability to record 12-bit 8K at 60p and 4K at 120p RAW internally, plus 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ. Buyers who need lower-resolution formats or external recording only should consider other models. Full HD proxy files are generated simultaneously for faster editing workflows.

Questions about this item

How often will the 128GB memory card need swapping during 8K 60p RAW recording?

The 128GB card fills quickly at 12-bit 8K 60p RAW; expect to change cards every few minutes of continuous capture, so carry spares for long sessions.

Which component hits its limit first during extended 8K 60p RAW shoots?

Internal 12-bit 8K 60p RAW recording generates heavy data throughput and heat; the camera’s thermal management will trigger a recording stop before the 128GB card or lens reaches any limit.

How loud does the cooling fan get when recording 4K 120p RAW all day?

The electronic shutter is silent and vibration-free, but sustained 4K 120p RAW recording activates internal cooling fans that become audible in quiet rooms.
