What it is and who it serves

This black 3 ft power extension cord carries a C14 plug on one end and a C13 socket on the other. It is built for IT staff and home users who need a short reach between a device inlet and a PDU or UPS outlet.

Capacity and headroom

The 16 AWG conductors are rated for 13 A at 250 V, so the cord handles typical server and workstation loads without issue. It is not suited for equipment that draws more than the rated current or for permanent outdoor installation.

Build quality and daily implications

Fully moulded strain relief and a UL SJT jacket give the cable a rugged feel that resists kinking and accidental pulls. The standard IEC-60320 connectors lock securely into most rack PDUs, UPS units and PC power supplies, making rack changes quick and reliable.
