1 ft Cat6A patch cable for short runs

This 1 ft Cat6A UTP cable uses 4-pair 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with RJ45 plugs and 50 micron gold-plated contacts. The CM-rated PVC jacket meets TIA/EIA standards verified by UL and ETL and is RoHS compliant. It is wired to the T568B standard and suited for patch-panel, switch or device connections in a rack or on a desk.

500 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gbps headroom

The cable operates at a minimum 500 MHz and is rated to 550 MHz, supporting 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T and 10,000Base-T Ethernet. At 1 ft it provides ample headroom for 10 Gigabit links within a cabinet, while the Cat6A specification allows runs up to 100 meters (328 ft) for full-distance 10 Gbps connections.

Upgrade from Cat5e or Cat6 links

Replacing Cat5e or standard Cat6 patch cords with this Cat6A cable adds crosstalk suppression, better heat dissipation for PoE and the 500 MHz-plus bandwidth needed for reliable 10 Gbps throughput.
