Cat6A UTP cable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet

This 6 ft Cat6A unshielded twisted-pair patch cable is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 meters. It uses 4-pair 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold-plated contacts. The purple CM-rated PVC jacket suits indoor rack, wall-plate or desktop connections. It meets TIA/EIA requirements verified by UL and ETL and complies with RoHS.

Booted RJ45 plugs simplify insertion and removal

The moulded boots protect the latch tab during repeated mating cycles, reducing the chance of a broken clip that would leave the connector loose in the port. Stranded conductors make the cable flexible for tight bends behind patch panels or in cable management trays. Because the cable is unshielded, it does not require a grounded shield path; simply snap each end into the RJ45 jack until the latch clicks. Avoid kinking the jacket or exceeding the minimum bend radius during routing.

Verify port speed and cable run length before

Ensure the switch, router or NIC port supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet to use the cable at its rated 500 MHz minimum frequency. The 6 ft length suits short patch-panel to switch links or device-to-wall-plate drops; longer runs up to 100 meters are within the Cat6A specification but require a longer cable. Confirm the existing infrastructure uses T568B wiring, as this cable follows that pin-out. If shielded cabling is required for EMI-heavy environments, this UTP construction will not meet that need.
