This one-foot Cat7 cable uses double-shielded 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and shielded RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold-plated contacts. The SSTP construction wraps each of the four pairs in foil and adds an overall braid for alien-crosstalk suppression. It is rated for 600 MHz bandwidth and wired to the T568B standard. The CM-rated PVC jacket meets UL and ETL listings and is RoHS compliant.

Shielded connectors and boot design

The moulded strain-relief boots protect the latch and the solder joints from repeated insertion cycles. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation in humid rack environments. The shielded plug body maintains the cable's screening all the way to the jack, preventing ground-loop noise in PoE deployments. Double shielding on the cable itself reduces near-end crosstalk below Cat6 limits.

The 600 MHz rating is the specification that qualifies this cable for certified Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 metres. Installers needing 10 GBASE-T over the full 100 metre channel should verify that their infrastructure supports Cat7/Class F performance, because this cable alone does not guarantee that margin. Buyers who need longer runs without couplers should select a different length.
