Cat7 shielded 20 ft patch cable

This Cat7 Ethernet cable carries a 600 MHz rating over a 20 ft run and uses four individually shielded pairs inside an overall braided shield. The 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors terminate in RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold-plated contacts and molded strain-relief boots. It is compliant with TIA/EIA standards verified by UL and ETL and meets RoHS requirements.

Fits standard RJ45 ports and Gigabit Ethernet gear

The RJ45 male connectors on both ends plug directly into PCs, servers, printers, routers, switches and network media players without adapters. Double shielding reduces crosstalk and system noise in dense cable runs, while the CM-rated PVC jacket meets in-wall and plenum-adjacent installation codes. The booted connectors protect the latch during repeated mating cycles.

Replaces unshielded or lower-category cables

Builders upgrading from Cat5e or Cat6 unshielded patch cords gain the stricter crosstalk specs and 600 MHz bandwidth headroom that Cat7 defines for Gigabit Ethernet. The shielded construction is worth it when cables run near power lines, fluorescent ballasts or dense switch bundles where alien crosstalk degrades throughput. It is not for installations that require fiber distances beyond 100 meters or outdoor burial without conduit.
