Compact two-foot Cat7 patch cable

This 2 ft Cat7 Ethernet cable is built for short runs between a desktop, server, printer or switch where a longer lead would create clutter. Its 26 AWG stranded copper conductors keep the cable flexible for tight routing behind racks or inside enclosures. The SSTP shielding and 600 MHz rating support gigabit speeds in electrically noisy environments. It is not suited for runs that exceed the two-foot length.

Double-shielded SSTP construction

Each of the four twisted pairs carries its own foil shield beneath an overall braided screen, giving the S/FTP structure that defines Cat7. The RJ45 connectors use 50 micron gold-plated contacts and moulded strain-relief boots that resist accidental unplugging during routine maintenance. The CM-rated PVC jacket meets in-wall fire codes for permanent installs. Installers who need unshielded or solid-core cable for PoE injector runs should choose a different type.

600 MHz bandwidth over two feet

The cable is certified to the TIA/EIA standard by UL and ETL and meets RoHS requirements, with a 600 MHz bandwidth specification that exceeds the Cat6 baseline. T568B wiring ensures compatibility with standard gigabit ports on PCs, servers, routers and media players. Buyers needing longer certified lengths or outdoor-rated jackets must select another product.
