A 3 ft Cat 7 patch cable with double shielding, 26 AWG pure copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 plugs rated for 600 MHz
The Nippon Labs 60CAT7-3BK is a Category 7 shielded patch cable measuring three feet. It uses 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with individual pair shielding and an overall braided screen. Both ends terminate in RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold plated contacts wired to the T568B standard. The CM type PVC jacket meets UL and ETL verification for TIA/EIA compliance and is RoHS compliant.
The cable is rated for transmission frequencies up to 600 MHz over the full 100 metre channel distance specified for Cat.7. Its SSTP construction with four individually shielded pairs inside an overall braid provides stricter crosstalk and system noise performance than Category 6. This makes the jump worthwhile when installing Gigabit Ethernet links in environments with high electromagnetic interference or when future proofing for 10 Gigabit runs up to the rated distance.
The three foot length suits short rack patches, wall outlet to device links or bench testing where excess slack is unwanted. Builders needing longer horizontal runs, outdoor burial ratings or non shielded UTP cable should look elsewhere. The booted connectors add strain relief but increase the plug profile, so extremely dense patch panels with tight port spacing may require a slimmer boot design.

The boot extends past the RJ45 body, so allow enough clearance for the boot to seat fully without bending the cable sharply at the jack.
Align the tab, push straight in until the boot clicks, and verify the metal shield tabs contact the port chassis; do not rock the plug sideways during insertion.
Replace if the boot cracks, the jacket shows kinks or abrasion, or the gold contacts appear worn or corroded, as damage to shielding or conductors degrades the 600 MHz rating.
