Cat7 Shielded Cable for Gigabit LAN

This Nippon Labs patch cable uses Cat 7 SSTP construction with four individually shielded pairs and an overall braid. It is rated for 600 MHz transmission frequency and terminated with RJ 45 shielded plugs carrying 50 micron gold contacts. The 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors follow T568B wiring under a CM type PVC jacket. It provides universal connectivity for PCs, servers, printers, routers, switches and network media players.

Step up from Cat 6 when noise rejection matters

Cat 7 specifies stricter crosstalk and system noise limits than Cat 6, making the jump worthwhile in electrically noisy racks or long runs near power cables. The double shielding and 600 MHz rating support Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100 meter (328 ft) channel. Buyers who need only short unshielded links in quiet environments will not see a practical difference.

Fits standard RJ 45 ports with no extra hardware

The moulded strain relief boots protect the connector latch during repeated inserts. Shielded plugs maintain grounding continuity when both ends connect to shielded ports.
