Cat8 patch cable for high-speed LANs

This 0.5 ft Nippon Labs Cat8 cable uses 24 AWG shielded S/FTP construction to deliver up to 40 Gbps at 2 GHz bandwidth. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors with snagless boots ensure reliable mating in dense patch panels. The white PVC jacket is rated for indoor and outdoor use, making it suitable for short runs between switches, servers, routers and gaming consoles.

Shielded design controls interference

Individual foil shields around each pair plus an overall steel braid suppress alien crosstalk and EMI without active cooling or power draw. The cable remains passive, so it adds no noise, heat or latency to the link. Molded strain relief protects the terminations during repeated insertion cycles in rack or desktop environments.

Replaces Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 links

Backward compatibility lets you upgrade existing RJ45 drops to 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T performance without changing ports or transceivers. The jump is worth it when 10 Gbps links saturate and you need headroom for 25 Gbps or 40 Gbps server-to-switch uplinks.
