Cat8 cable for 40 Gbps networks

This 10 ft Cat8 patch cable supports up to 40 Gbps data rates and 2000 MHz bandwidth using 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors. It is built for emerging 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links while remaining fully backward compatible with existing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and Cat7 infrastructure. The orange PVC jacket allows quick colour-coding in dense racks or home runs.

Shielded construction limits interference

Each twisted pair is wrapped in aluminium foil and the four pairs share an overall braid shield, giving S/FTP protection against alien crosstalk and external noise. The shielding enables the 2 GHz operating frequency without requiring active cooling or special power considerations. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts rated at 50 µm resist oxidation for consistent signal integrity over time.

Snagless RJ45 plugs with strain relief

Moulded boots and a soft flex push tab make insertion and removal easy in tight patch panels or wall plates. The snagless design prevents the latch from catching on adjacent cables during moves or maintenance. Metal-shielded connector bodies maintain the screening path to the plug, and the PVC jacket is rated for in-wall and outdoor installation.
