Cat8 cable for 40 Gbps networks

This 10 ft purple Cat8 patch cable uses 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with individual foil shielding plus an overall braid shield. RJ45 plugs feature 50 micron gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain-relief boot. The PVC jacket is rated for in-wall and outdoor use and meets TIA/EIA, UL, ETL and RoHS requirements.

Suited for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links

Backward compatibility covers Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 equipment, so the cable works with existing routers, switches, PCs and modems. Installers who need longer runs beyond the Cat8 channel limit or who require plenum-rated jackets should look at alternative cable types.
