This Nippon Labs Cat8 patch cord is a 2 ft orange Ethernet cable built for 40 Gbps data rates and 2 GHz bandwidth. It uses 30 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with U/FTP foil shielding on each pair. The RJ45 plugs carry 50 µm gold-plated contacts and a snagless, strain-relieved design. It targets builders wiring 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T links in tight spaces.

Before ordering check port spacing

Verify that your switch, router or NIC has standard RJ45 ports spaced to accept a moulded boot with a soft-flex push tab. The 30 AWG slim jacket reduces diameter, but the connector housing still needs clearance for the latch to engage fully. Confirm your existing cabling uses T568B wiring so the patch cord matches the pin-out. Ensure the equipment supports Cat8 frequencies or will fall back to the highest common category.

The double aluminium foil wrap around each twisted pair and the overall U/FTP construction limit alien crosstalk during continuous 40 Gbps streams.
