Pack Contents and Target Use

This pack contains ten Cat 8 Ethernet cables, each 35 ft long and terminated with RJ45 plugs. The 24 AWG stranded copper conductors support frequencies up to 2 GHz and data rates up to 40 Gbps. The cables suit installers wiring multiple drops for 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T links and for backward-compatible connections to existing Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A or Cat 7 equipment.

Build Integration

Each cable uses S/FTP construction with individual foil shields and an overall braid, so alien crosstalk is reduced without requiring external shielding measures. The snagless molded boots and soft flex push tabs allow dense patch-panel or switch-port stacking. Gold-plated 50 µm contacts maintain low resistance over repeated insertions. The PVC jacket is CM rated for in-wall residential runs where local code permits.

Thermals Noise and Power

Passive copper construction generates no heat and draws no power, so the cables add nothing to a rack’s thermal load. The full shielding keeps electromagnetic emissions contained and rejects external interference, helping attached transceivers run at their specified error rates. No active components mean silent operation in any environment.
