Ruckus 1 metre 40 GbE QSFP+ to QSFP+ passive copper cable

RUCKUS WIRELESS

RUCKUS WIRELESS E40GQSFPQSFPP0101 40 GbE QSFP+ passive copper cable 1 m

SKU CH-XBFK-DXSS6

Connects 40 GbE QSFP+ ports with a 1 m passive copper direct-attach cable

  • 40 GbE direct-attach link for high-speed switch uplinks
  • Passive copper design needs no external power supply
  • QSFP+ to QSFP+ connectors fit compatible ports directly
  • One-metre length suits rack-to-rack or intra-rack cabling
  • New condition ensures reliable out-of-the-box performance

40 GbE QSFP+ direct-attach cable

The Ruckus E40GQSFPQSFPP0101 is a one-metre passive copper cable with QSFP+ connectors on each end. It provides a 40 GbE link between compatible switches, routers or servers without an external power source. The direct-attach design keeps latency low for short-reach interconnects. ||

Ideal for rack-to-rack links

This cable suits administrators building 40 GbE connections inside a single rack or between adjacent racks where a one-metre reach is sufficient. It is not for installations that need longer reach, active signal conditioning or optical fibre media. Buyers who need extended distances or active cables should consider other options. ||

QSFP+ passive copper interface

The cable uses a QSFP+ to QSFP+ passive copper interface rated for 40 GbE. Confirm that both endpoint ports support passive direct-attach copper at this speed before ordering. The single specification that decides fit is the QSFP+ passive copper interface.

The cable is rated for 40 GbE direct-attach connections between QSFP+ ports.

Does the passive copper design generate any heat or require extra power during continuous operation?

Passive copper cables draw no external power and produce negligible heat under normal 40 GbE loads.

Which port type must the connected switches or NICs provide for this cable to work?

Both ends require QSFP+ ports compliant with the 40 GbE direct-attach specification.
