Ready for 40 Gbps networks

This 10-pack of Cat 8 patch cords delivers up to 40 Gbps at 2000 MHz over five-foot gray runs. Each cable uses 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with individual foil shielding plus an overall braid shield. The RJ45 plugs carry 50 µm gold-plated contacts and a snagless, strain-relieved boot. Backward compatibility covers Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A and Cat 7 equipment.

Fits standard RJ45 ports

The RJ45 connectors mate with any Gigabit, 10G or 25G BASE-T port on switches, routers, servers or desktop NICs. Shielded construction suppresses alien crosstalk in dense cable bundles, freeing bandwidth for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links. A CM-rated PVC jacket meets in-wall and riser routing requirements without additional conduit. The five-foot length suits rack-to-patch-panel or desk-to-wall-plate runs.
