This 1000 ft bulk cable is built for outdoor aerial runs between buildings or poles. A steel messenger wire carries the load so the copper pairs do not stretch or sag. The black CMX jacket resists UV exposure and meets outside-plant requirements. Installers running long spans in open air will use this product.

350 MHz bandwidth and 70 m span limit

The foil-shielded twisted pairs are rated for 350 MHz, supporting Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and 155 Mbps TP-PMD/CDDI signals. The steel messenger has a breaking tension of 1370 Mpa and a maximum recommended hang distance of 70 metres. Shielding and a drain wire reduce external interference on the line.

Solid 24 AWG copper on wooden spool

Four colour-striped pairs use solid bare copper conductors at 24 AWG for low attenuation and good crosstalk performance. Sequential length markings on the jacket help measure pulls without extra tools. The cable ships on a wooden spool for controlled pay-out during installation.
