Converts a 5.25" power connector into two right-angle SATA 15-pin sockets for internal drives
This 6-inch adaptor converts a single 5.25-inch Molex power connector into two right-angle SATA 15-pin female sockets. It is built for installers adding SATA hard drives, optical drives or tape units to a system that still supplies only legacy 5.25-inch power leads.
The cable replaces a straight Molex-to-SATA dongle or a bulky Y-splitter when clearance behind the drive cage is tight. The 90-degree SATA plugs keep the cable flush against the drive chassis, so the jump is worth it whenever a straight connector would foul a side panel or adjacent card.
Verify that your power supply has a free 5.25-inch Molex male header and that each target drive accepts a standard SATA 15-pin power input. Confirm the 6-inch reach spans the gap between the supply connector and the drive mounting points without tension.

Yes, the 5.25-inch male end plugs directly into a standard Molex drive power socket.
Align the L-shaped key on each 90-degree SATA plug with the drive socket; forcing it the wrong way bends pins.
Replace it if the insulation cracks, pins loosen, or a drive loses power intermittently.
