Category 8 shielded patch cable

This Category 8 patch cable uses four shielded twisted pairs of 26 AWG oxygen-free copper with 24K gold-plated RJ45 connectors. The S/FTP construction adds an overall foil shield and braid to suppress EMI, RFI and alien crosstalk. It is built for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links and remains backward compatible with Cat5, Cat6 and Cat7 equipment. The 3 ft orange jacket suits short rack or desk runs.

Triple shielding and gold contacts

The double foil plus braid shield wraps each pair and the whole bundle, reducing noise that degrades high-frequency signals. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation, keeping insertion loss low over repeated mating cycles. Stranded conductors make the cable pliable for tight bends behind patch panels or around console stands without kinking.

40 Gbps at 2000 MHz headroom
