Purpose and Audience

Norpro 1936 bamboo skewers come in a set of 100 for home cooks and caterers preparing kebabs, satay or bite-sized hors d'oeuvres. The six-inch length suits individual portions on a grill or in an oven.

Material and Daily Use

Natural beige bamboo resists splintering during handling and disposes cleanly after cooking. Soaking each skewer in water for approximately 15 minutes before heat exposure prevents scorching and keeps food secure.

Upgrade Context

The bulk pack replaces smaller retail bundles and eliminates the need for reusable metal skewers that require washing. It is not suited for whole poultry, large roasts or any application demanding a longer or sturdier shaft.
