USB KVM HDMI 1.4 Extender

This NuoTo extender kit sends HDMI video, keyboard and mouse signals up to 328ft over a single CAT6 or CAT7 cable. The transmitter and receiver pair is aimed at installers who need remote PC control in classrooms, signage or server rooms without running long HDMI leads.

4K 30Hz over CAT6/7 distance

The link carries 4K at 30Hz or 1080p at the full 100m reach, with HDCP 2.2 compliance and 7.1-channel LPCM plus 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS audio. A built-in HDMI loopout on the transmitter lets a local display mirror the source while the remote unit drives the far screen.

PoC power and USB 1.1 ports

Bi-directional 12V power-over-cable means only one adapter is required to run both ends, simplifying wiring where outlets are scarce. Two USB 1.1 ports on the receiver handle keyboard and mouse only; they do not support storage or high-speed peripherals. Metal housings add EMI shielding and surface-mount tabs.

Questions about this item

How far will 4K at 30 Hz actually travel over the cable?

The extender carries 4K at 30 Hz up to 328 ft (100 m) over solid-copper CAT6 or CAT7; 1080p reaches the same distance.

What does HDMI 1.4 with HDCP 2.2 limit in practice?

HDMI 1.4 caps video at 4K 30 Hz and 8-bit colour, while HDCP 2.2 allows protected 4K streams but blocks higher refresh rates or HDR metadata.

What mounting space do the transmitter and receiver need?

Each metal enclosure is surface-mountable and designed to sit flat on a desk, shelf or wall bracket; allow room for the HDMI loop-out on the transmitter and two USB 1.1 ports on the receiver.
