New RTX 3070 for Gaming Desktops

This NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card comes with 8GB GDDR6 memory and a PCIe 4.0 interface. It is a new OEM component originally designated for Lenovo Legion desktop PCs. The card targets gamers and creators who want strong frame rates at high resolutions.

Who Should Buy This GPU

Buyers upgrading a compatible desktop with a PCIe 4.0 slot and adequate power will benefit from 1440p ultra performance and entry 4K capability. It also supports DLSS for higher FPS in supported titles. Shoppers needing a different form factor or specific display outputs not listed here should verify compatibility before purchase.

The Deciding Specification

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer determines whether this card fits your texture budget at 1440p or 4K. If your workload demands more video memory, this specification is the limiting factor. The RTX 3070 chipset delivers the compute performance, but the memory capacity sets the practical ceiling.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with this OEM RTX 3070 and do I need a separate power cable?

The box contains the OEM graphics card only; no monitor, no retail accessories, and no extra cables are included. You must supply a compatible PCIe power cable from your PSU.

How do I choose between this 8 GB GDDR6 RTX 3070 and other versions for my build?

Pick this 8 GB GDDR6 model when your motherboard has a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and your power supply can deliver the required wattage for 1440p ultra or entry 4K gaming.

What does the 1440p ultra figure mean once the card is installed in my PC?

It means the GPU can run modern titles at 1440p resolution with ultra settings, and DLSS can push frame rates higher while ray tracing is active.
