NXGKET 4-Pack FRS Radios

The NXGKET 2AYV7YG-811 set includes four rechargeable two-way radios operating on 22 FRS channels within the 462.5500–462.7250 MHz and 467.5625–467.7125 MHz ranges. Each unit has a built-in 1200 mAh lithium-ion battery rated for up to 96 hours of use and supports NOAA weather alerts. The pack ships with 2-in-1 USB-C cables for simultaneous charging.

Suits families and outdoor groups

These radios suit families, hikers, or cruise passengers who need licence-free FRS communication and weather monitoring in a compact, water-resistant design. The 122 privacy codes help reduce interference on shared channels. Buyers who need more than 22 channels, higher transmit power, or GMRS repeater capability should look at other platforms.

Simple setup with USB-C charging

Insert the pre-installed batteries, power on, and select a shared channel to begin talking. The 2-in-1 USB-C cables charge two radios per cable from any 5 V source. Common issues include reduced range inside buildings or vehicles and accidental activation of the keypad lock or VOX sensitivity settings.

Questions about this item

What power source do I need to charge the built-in 1200mAh battery?

The radios operate at 3.7 volts and include two 2-in-1 USB-C cables that can charge four units simultaneously from any standard USB power source.

Will these 22 FRS channels work with my older FRS radios that use privacy codes?

Yes, the 22 channels support 122 privacy codes and are compatible with other FRS devices, so they can communicate with older models on matching channel and code settings.

How can I confirm the NOAA weather alert is active after setup?

Tune to the weather band; the radio will sound an alarm automatically when a NOAA alert is broadcast for your area, confirming the feature is working.
