Portable AM FM SW1 SW2 Radio

The Yewrich YR-RU8 is a portable radio that covers AM, FM, SW1 and SW2 bands for listeners who want broad station access. It suits seniors and families looking for simple operation with large tuning knobs and a carry handle. The 39.4-inch antenna provides strong reception at home or outdoors. It is not for buyers who need digital tuning presets or internet streaming.

Power Options and Media Playback

The unit runs on AC power at 120V 60Hz or on batteries for portable use. It plays audio from Bluetooth devices, USB drives and TF cards through its built-in speaker. A 3.5mm earphone jack allows private listening without disturbing others. Users who require recording functions or multi-room audio will not find those features here.

Audio Output and Build

A large speaker delivers clear sound that remains audible even in a bathroom setting. The cabinet measures 10.63 in by 2.45 in by 7.78 in and weighs 2.5 lb, making it easy to move between rooms or take outside. There is no internal battery charging circuit, so rechargeable cells must be charged externally.

Questions about this item

Will the 39.4-inch antenna on this Yewrich YR-RU8 pick up stations clearly in a house with thick walls?

How can I confirm the Bluetooth streaming is working properly after I pair my phone?

Pair your phone via Bluetooth, play a track and listen through the big speaker; clear, distortion-free audio means the link is working as intended.
